How to use your Boss’s name.

Our accounting fees increases again for this year. And to ask customer to pay more, it’s really really hard. This is when the word “Boss” is really useful. Here are a few ones that I usually use;

“My boss lah, say this year want to increase fee”

“My boss lah, say this year must collect more than last year.”

“My boss lah, say will not increase my salary if I don’t collect more. If there’s no increment, it’s hard for me also due to the inflation.”

“My boss lah, everyday also talk about inflation, and we have to increase our service fee to cope with it.”

“My boss lah, say this year want to buy a new Mercedes. So have to increase fee…”

“My boss lah, everyday bring me to his office and talk about the rising cost of running a business.”

“My boss lah, say will not give us bonus if we don’t get the customer to pay more…”

“My boss lah, say it’s costly to absorb all the 5% Government Service Tax all this while.

“My boss lah, say the price of papers kept increasing lately.”

And yet, only like 60% of the customers are willing to pay more. I guess when it comes to chinese people (our customer base is 95% chinese), all they want is to squeeze every penny out of you.
